 Diamond Dogs (2007)
IMDB rating: 4.70
Plot: “Diamond Dogs” is the story of a group of American fortune hunters, who come to China looking for a long-lost-treasure. During the Soviet crack-down on religion in the 1930’s, a priceless Buddhist artifact, a Tangka was taken across the border to China and hidden in the mountains. The diamonds alone, decorating this huge gold-inlaid textile, are thought to be worth $50 million. The fortune hunters need a guide and protection on the trip, so they hire an American ex-pat, Ronson. He’s ex-Army and living an existence in Inner-Mongolia of drinks, women and bare-knuckle fights. The group takes off into the Mongolian mountains on a trek that will change their lives forever. For not only is this Tangka wanted by ruthless Russian mercenaries, but it’s also protected by something much more sinister. Something that even Ronson can’t imagine…

My golden retriever has gas every night?
She will be a year old in January. I recently switched dog food. I bought a bag of Diamond Large Breed Puppy Chow for her. I also bought her a box of large Milk Bones and gave her around 2 each day. It’s either the food or the Milk Bones.
She doesn’t really eat much people food. She does eat what my 2 yr old drops if I don’t beat her to it. When we watch TV in the evenings you can hear her fart and it smells terrible.
Do you think she has stomach issues or is it normal for larger dogs to fart a lot? I’ve only owned small breeds in the past.
I ran out of the old food and opened a new bag.
Even at a year her stomach is still sensitive…did you switch her food over gradually, mixing in the new food a little more each day? Or did you just switch it?
Take a look at an ingredient list from her old food and compare it to the new ingredient list, is there something she could be allergic/intolerant to? Fish, some grains, corn, preservatives, colourants, and artificial flavours/colours are some things that can cause problems in some dogs. Or, if her old food had this perhaps this is just her body cleaning out the toxins if she’s getting better food now with more fibre?
I’d cut out the milkbones though, there are lots of better treats for dogs…a lot of the top brand of dog foods make treats as well.
I’ve also included a link for you to use to help find a better/different dog food, it includes a review of the diamond chow but there are a few different kinds they offer and I don’t know which one you have. You can go to the home page and search for the one you have if I’ve guessed wrong.
It’s quite a useful site and one I enjoyed looking through when we were looking for the best food for our puppy. Just in case you want to know, we finally settled on Nutro - Holistic Superfood Large Breed Puppy. I really like it, it keeps her regular, and it doesn’t smell like gross dog food, it smells like chicken.
Good luck…smell you later {;o)

The milkbones are horrible…two a day is too many…half of one twice a day if you must give them…
Could be the food switch…did you switch over time or just up and change food one day? that could make a difference as well

Some dogs if you just switch their food will have gas. Many people do not think about it but when you do change foods you should do it gradually.
Give it a few days and see what happens, if this doesn’t work then you may have to see a vet to make sure.
We feed our dogs diamond or chicken soup which is made by diamond.
We have large dogs as well (great danes) we sometimes have to mix half and half before we just make a change.
